This iframe embedding problem won't just relate to Google docs. We've also used it for live-blogging, etc.
This is a once per year application process. Anyone can apply to be consider for our Talent Bank of trainers. We collect the applications; and the result are compiled for a jury to review and vet each applicant. The Google doc allows us to compile all the applications, share/edit/print, etc. as necessary. Hope that helps clarify the process.
