Great Canadian Lemonade Standemonium

It’s one of the most popular summer-fun to-dos for kids – hosting a lemonade stand!  And, on Saturday, June 21st, 2014 the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation is sparking a lemonade stand movement and hosting the Second Annual Great Canadian Lemonade Standemonium.  It’s a fun-filled, one-day fundraiser where kids host stands in their neighbourhood, all while raising funds and awareness for cancer care in our community.



EPIC WALK for Cancer Care

September 27, 2014

On September 27, 2014, hundreds of men and women will each raise a minimum of $1,000 and walk 25km (approximately) in one day from the west end of our city to the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Survivors Park.

Funds raised from the Epic Walk will be invested in local cancer care including equipment and programming at the Cancer Foundation, Queensway Carleton Hospital and Bruyère.


Scotiabank Nordic Walk for Cancer Survivorship

October 19, 2014

This October, poles will be hitting the pavement for the fourth annual Nordic Walk for Cancer Survivorship in support of the Cancer Survivorship Centre.

With each step taken and each dollar raised, participants will be ensuring that thousands of local cancer patients and their families have access to the new cancer coaching health service offered by the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.


Bust A Move For Breast Health

Spring 2015

In Spring 2015, hundreds of participants will unite for a very special day-long fitness fundraising extravaganza in support of breast health in Eastern Ontario! This upbeat, entertaining, energizing, home-grown event promises to be unforgettable.

Funds raised will ensure that local residents have world-class breast care close to home; shorter wait times for diagnosis and treatment; access to research and new therapies and overall improved quality of life – which includes the new Maplesoft Centre, Canada’s first centre for cancer survivorship
