Dining out for a GREAT cause!

On January 23, 2013, local restaurants will be donating a portion of their proceeds in support of the CyberKnife program and Cancer Research.

On March 2 2013, hundreds of participants will unite for a very special day-long fitness fundraising extravaganza in support of breast health in Eastern Ontario! This upbeat, entertaining, energizing, home-grown event promises to be unforgettable.

Funds raised will ensure that local residents have world-class breast care close to home; shorter wait times for diagnosis and treatment; access to research and new therapies and overall improved quality of life – which includes the new Maplesoft Centre, Canada’s first centre for cancer survivorship

To mark National Cancer Survivors Day, the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation and the Queensway Carleton Hospital are partnering to host the BIGGEST one-day walk in Ottawa.

Hundreds of men and women will each raise a minimum of $1,000 and walk 28km in one day from the Queensway Carleton Hospital to the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Survivors Park on Saturday, June 1st, 2013.

The evening will end with an emotional ceremony marking national Cancer Survivors Day.

There are runs ... and then there's the ULTIMATE Run!The ULTIMATE RUN for Men’s Cancers has become one of Ottawa’s favourite Father’s Day traditions.

Join us on June 16, 2013 for the 15th anniversary of the ULTIMATE RUN.

October 2013

This October, poles will be hitting the pavement for the third annual Nordic Walk for Cancer Survivorship in support of the Cancer Survivorship Centre.

With each step taken and each dollar raised, participants will be ensuring that thousands of local cancer patients and their families have access to the Maplesoft Centre and the innovative and inspirational programs that will be offered free of charge.

Mid-October to mid-November 2013

This fall, The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation is working with men all over the city to raise funds for men's cancers research and new technologies like the  da Vinci Surgical System and the CyberKnife. From mid-October to mid-November, facial hair will make an appearance on a man near you.

Join them and take take part in this smoldering campaign. Registration is free and if moustaches aren’t your thing, don’t worry! They’ll grow on you.
