Lynda O'Dwyer is a retired nurse who spent a good portion of her career tending to cancer patients. Both her parents had cancer in the 1960s when treatment options were few and usually quite radical. They both survived their bouts with cancer and Lynda has seen an incredible evolution in cancer care since that time.
Lynda started volunteering for the Cancer Foundation in special events. She now does a variety of administrative tasks for the Foundation several days a month. Lynda marvels at the number of fabulous ideas the Foundation comes up with to address cancer needs, raise funds and make a difference in our community. The Foundation is truly fortunate to have such knowledgeable and caring people who give their time and experience to our cause.
