La Fondation du cancer de la région d'Ottawa se consacre à augmenter la survie au cancer dans l'Est ontarien.
La définition internationale d'un survivant est : une personne qui lutte contre le cancer, patient, conjoint, enfant, parent, ami ou soignant. La survie commence au moment du diagnostic et comprend tous les aspects physiques, émotionnels et pratiques. La survie au cancer décrit les nombreuses expériences et émotions qui font partie de la vie d'un survivant au cancer.
Dans le cadre de notre hommage constant à la survie au cancer, nous vous présentons ceux et celles qui luttent contre la maladie.

Benny Plots
