The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation is privileged to recognize individuals through its In Honour Program. This program is a meaningful way to celebrate lives that have left and imprint on our hearts.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What occasion can be celebrated?
Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, employee milestones, religious holidays, graduations, all can be celebrated through gifts to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
- Who receives receipts and thank you notes?
The donor will receive an acknowledgement letter for their gift and may opt for the receipt for their gift to be sent to the honouree. Barring any specific instructions regarding the issuing of the receipt, it will automatically be sent to the donor.
- Can the individual honoured be notified of gifts made?
Yes. On a bi-weekly basis the honouree will receive names and addresses of those gifts made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation on their behalf. The gift amount will not be disclosed.
- May we customize our donation announcement cards?
Yes. Please include any special comments you wish us to include in the acknowledgement to the honouree on the In Honour card.
- Where are In-Honour cards available?
In-Honour cards are available for pick-up at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, 704-265 Carling Ave. Ottawa, ON K1S 2E1 or delivery by phoning 613.247.3527.
