In 2012, we made a commitment to help bring the da Vinci Surgical System to our community. In the last three years, 800 surgeries have been performed using the robot. Those patients include prostate cancer, gynecological cancers and head and neck cancer patients. With the da Vinci, patients are experiencing less pain, and less blood loss – and are spending less time in hospital (just 1-2 days, compared with 4-5 days with traditional treatment methods).
