ON September 16, WILL YOU CHANGE SOMEONE’S LIFE?
Each year, the Cancer Champions Breakfast is just over an hour long. But since 2009, these crucial minutes have raised nearly four million dollars for local cancer care.
On September 16, 2020, community leaders, industry leaders, doctors, researchers, and scientists from across the region will be having breakfast together to raise funds for life-saving local clinical trials and research, and for the Cancer Foundation’s Cancer Coaching programs. They will gather to give hope to the 30,000 people in our community currently undergoing cancer treatment and the additional 8,000 people who will learn that cancer has made its way into their lives this year.
Become a Table Captain
One of the most significant ways to make an impact through the Cancer Champions Breakfast is to become a Table Captain. A Table Captain recruits 6 friends, colleagues and other contacts to join their table for breakfast to gather support for local cancer care. You will be responsible for recruiting and registering your guests, attending a pre-event meeting where all your questions will be answered, and facilitating discussion and participation at your table the day-of – that’s it! Please contact Paula Muldoon at email@example.com or 613-247-1920 ex. 258 to reserve your spot.
Attend as a Guest
If you would like to attend the Cancer Champions Breakfast as a guest and be assigned to an existing table, please contact Paula Muldoon at firstname.lastname@example.org or 613-247-1920 ex. 258.
Register your Table
If you have already signed on to be a Table Captain and are ready to register your guests, please call Paula Muldoon at 613-247-1920 ex. 258 or send her an email at email@example.com. Please have the full name, mailing address and email address of each of your guests ready.
Date: Wednesday, September 16, 2020
Time: 7:30 am – 8:30 am (sharp!)
Location: Infinity Convention Centre, 2901 Gibford Dr., Ottawa, ON K1V 2L9
There is no fee for attending the Breakfast, however, it is a fundraising event and guests will be asked to consider making a donation. These gifts will be used to support cancer clinical trials and research, as well as Cancer Coaching at the Cancer Foundation.
