MindBody Feel: Register NOW!

Have you been impacted by cancer? Has this diagnosis caused you significant stress and anxiety? The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation is here to help.
This October, we offer you the chance to explore a unique and inspiring blend of breathing exercises, mindfulness meditation, gentle yoga, visualization, and relaxation techniques by taking part in our upcoming MindBody Feel Workshop.
Mind Body Practices, which have roots in Mindfulness, Meditation, and Gentle Yoga have been shown to help those diagnosed with cancer, as well as their caregivers, reduce their levels of anxiety, depression, fatigue and stress, and have also improved the quality of sleep, mood and spiritual well-being for some.
All of these techniques can help us (re)connect to ourselves – a connection we tend to lose when faced with severe challenges. The wide range of different techniques explored will give every participant the chance to discover which technique works best for them, and learn how to integrate that technique into their everyday life. We are all different and unique, but we are in this together.
You can access the workshop after meeting with a Cancer Coach. The next workshop will run October 12 – November 2 (Wednesdays from 11am -12pm) with a final wrap up session on November 16th. The cost for this workshop is $85.
