Cancer Champions Breakfast Postponed to September 16, 2020

March 18 / 2020

March 18, 2020

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency and in accordance with instruction from both the city of Ottawa and the province of Ontario, the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation will be postponing our annual Cancer Champions Breakfast. The event has been rescheduled from Wednesday, May 13th 2020 to Wednesday, September 16th, 2020.

In order to do all we can to protect our community’s health while continuing to support and provide the best cancer care in Eastern Ontario, the Cancer Foundation will not be able to hold any in-person fundraising events in the near future. However, the Breakfast is one of our most important events and raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year in support of local families who are facing cancer. Cancer too remains to be a significant health challenge in our community and across the world, and so we will be continuing to recruit table captains and guests to contribute to the event on September 16th.

Each year our community’s support is critical to ensuring the success of the Cancer Champions Breakfast, so that our friends, family members and neighbours will continue to have access to the research, clinical trials and Cancer Coaching they need and deserve. We look forward to sharing breakfast with you and your guests later this year.

We regret that we will be unable to run the Cancer Champions Breakfast this spring, but we know it is the best decision for our community at this time. We are extremely appreciative of your ongoing support and understanding.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Paula Muldoon at or 613-247-1920 ext. 258.
