Green Smoothie

Looking for a boost in the morning? Try making this delicious green smoothie and don’t let the colour scare you away! It’s the perfect combination of sweet and creamy with a hint of ginger zest. Each mouthful offers you healthy protein, fats and carbohydrates – making it a perfectly balanced smoothie! Enjoy.

Serves: 2

Ingredients

1 cup frozen pineapple

½ cup plain Greek yogurt

1 cup spinach

1 frozen banana (great way to use up the old bananas in your freezer!)

½ avocado

½ tbsp fresh ginger, grated

1 cup water

Directions

  1. Place ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.
