Aidan Leroux, a Coaching client, and Tara-Lynn Hughes, Senior VP at TD, cut the ribbon for the new TD Cancer Coaching Suite.

It is our absolute pleasure to announce and celebrate TD Bank’s generous donation of $200,000 towards the Cancer Champions Campaign.

The funds were given in support of local families facing cancer through Cancer Coaching.

The official announcement last Thursday was followed by a ribbon cutting to unveil the new TD Cancer Coaching Suite here at our Maplesoft Center. The unveiling was well-attended, including by a few Redblacks players and their mascot Big Joe, visiting from TD Place at Lansdowne.

“At TD, we are focused on making positive change in the communities where we work and live,” explains Tara-Lynn Hughes, Senior VP, Ontario North & East Region, TD. “The Cancer Coaching model is an innovative health and social care service and we are proud to be helping to strengthen the cancer services that are available in this region.”

Through its support, TD will help expand Cancer Coaching in our region over the next five years.

“We are incredibly grateful to TD for their generosity,” says Dr. Hartley Stern, chair of the Cancer Foundation’s Cancer Champions Campaign. “This investment allows the Cancer Foundation to continue to expand its Cancer Coaching services and give more families access to this solution-focused health intervention.”

Thank you TD for helping our community grow stronger in spite of cancer! You are true Champions!
