By Cancer Foundation on December 3 / 2020
The holidays are quickly approaching, and many people in our community are looking to give in more ways than one!
If you’re in need of a few gift ideas that will support local businesses and give back to the community, look no further. Follow the button below for a list of our community partners who will be donating a portion of their proceeds to the Cancer Foundation, with great products like soap, snacks, jewelry, and accessories!
Soap for Hope
The Soap for Hope bar is Garden Path’s contribution to helping fund breast cancer research. This bar contains 100% natural ingredients, including a blend of citrus essential oils and paprika as a natural colourant. A portion of proceeds from this bar will be donated to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation—look for the pink monarch on the label when you shop!
Louve de Laine by Adele Croteau
This lovely and peaceful hobby of Adele’s turned into an obsession once her mother, who taught her the art of knitting, passed away from ovarian cancer in 2008. Now, the many hours Adele spends knitting, outside of her regular day job and parenting 2 great kids, have allowed her to feel closeness to her beautiful mother. Adele feels honoured to be able to sell her pieces as well as to be donating some of the proceeds to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. Check out Adele’s work at the link below!
