Plan Your Legacy Gift

Two decades ago, cancer was a very tough subject to talk about. In fact, most people were afraid to discuss it, and had a hard time coming to terms with the realities of the disease. Today, we look at cancer in a whole new way. More and more people are surviving the disease and living longer.

We’ve come a long way, tackling survivorship one victory at a time – but some of these victories take time.

That’s why legacy gifts are so important to our work in the community. Each gift allows us to plan for the future. With committed funds in place, we can help cancer patients access the resources they need now – and we can also confidently invest in long-term projects, like clinical trials and cancer research.

What does this mean?

This means that your legacy gift could offer cancer patients new hope through a clinical trial that reduces the impacts of the disease, extends their lives by months or even years – or, in some cases, sees the disease disappear.

Your legacy gift could provide support to cancer patients and their family during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Your legacy gift could one day cure cancer.

A legacy gift is an opportunity to help the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation for years to come – both now and long after you’ve gone – and it can also be very practical, offering numerous tax benefits for both you and your family.
